ZMK & Co. is seeking a qualified professional for the position of Effective Vaccine Management (EVM) Coordinator – South Punjab to support the Provincial EPI Directorate and UNICEF's Immunization Program in Punjab. Purpose of the Job:

The EVM Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring effective coordination and oversight of vaccine management, cold chain operations, and related logistics across South Punjab. The role includes supporting the implementation of Effective Vaccine Management Improvement Plans (EVM-IP), capacity building of health staff, and overseeing the operational readiness of cold chain infrastructure. The position plays a pivotal role in ensuring timely and quality management of all vaccines, logistics forecasting, and related technical interventions in collaboration with provincial and district authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate between federal, provincial, and district EPI teams on EVM, forecasting, cold chain, transport, and solarization.

• Organize EVM and vaccine management trainings for staff at all levels.

• Oversee CCEOP activities and ensure timely cold chain inventory updates in vLMIS.

• Support SOP updates and EPI warehouse expansion with UNICEF and provincial teams.

• Contribute to the development and implementation of the EVM Improvement Plan.

• Coordinate forecasting and logistics for routine, MR, HPV, and COVID-19 vaccines.

• Monitor and report EVM-IP progress against set indicators.

• Report on vaccine forecasting, procurement, and distribution to key EPI stakeholders.

• Build capacity of provincial and district staff on vaccine and cold chain management.

• Provide ongoing support for EVM and logistics activities across the province.

• Conduct quarterly monitoring of vaccine storage and cold room functionality.

• Coordinate completion of CCEOP4 installations with suppliers and districts.

• Support RTMD installations in ILRs across Punjab.

• Ensure operationalization of the Manga Mandi Provincial Store.

• Manage distribution and deployment of cold chain vehicles.

• Support solarization of EPI sites.

• Prepare and implement CCE maintenance guidelines.

• Coordinate cold chain planning and installation for MR and HPV vaccines.

Eligibility Criteria:

Education:

• An advanced university degree (Master’s or higher) in Medical Management, Supply Chain, Public Health, Social Sciences, Engineering, Natural Sciences, or a relevant field.

• A first university degree in a relevant field plus four additional years of relevant professional experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced degree.

Skills & Experience:

• 3–5 years of relevant experience including:

  • Working in EPI environments in Pakistan, especially within provincial and district government settings.

  • Familiarity with health systems, vaccine management, and cold chain operations.

  • Experience in Effective Vaccine Management (EVM) assessments is an advantage.

  • Exposure to developing country contexts and emergency programs is considered an asset.

• Strong written, verbal, and coordination skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Strong analytical and report-writing skills.

• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of a local language or another UN official language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish) is an asset.
