ROLE PURPOSE

Reports to: Operations Coordinator

Leadership Band: Self

Purpose of the role:

The Office support will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the office and providing tea and refreshments to staff and visitors. This role is crucial in ensuring a pleasant and productive work environment.

  • Clean and sanitize office areas, including desks, floors, restrooms, and common areas.
  • Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
  • Empty trash bins and ensure proper disposal of waste.
  • Replenish and maintain supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
  • Prepare and serve tea, coffee, and other refreshments to staff and visitors.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and pantry areas.
  • Assist with setting up meeting rooms and ensuring they are clean and ready for use.
  • Report any maintenance issues or repairs needed to the supervisor.
  • Follow health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Any other task assigned by Supervisor

Skills:

  • To clean office and kitchen up to the defined standards
  • To be punctual as per timings instructed
  • To be presentable in the proper Dress Code
  • To respect all staff members and visitors.
  • Good Communication Skills

Essential Experience:

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning products and safe handling practices.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Desirable Experience:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in good, reputed organization as an office support.
