JOB TITLE:       OSP ASSISTANT

STATUS:             FULL-TIME

LOCATION: AS PER PROJECT NEED(TRAVE 40%)

REPORTING TO: ORPHAN SUPPORT COORDINATOR

REPORTING BY:  NONE

DEPARTMENT/PROGRAM: PROGRAMME

PURPOSER OF THE JOB

OSP assistant will support, OSP Coordinator in office tasks community engagement, identification of children, regular school visits and coordination with field officers.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the identification and registration of orphaned children in need within the Union Council area.
  • Support the distribution of supplies and resources to the registered children, ensuring fairness and timeliness.
  • Monitor the daily activities of the program in the assigned area and report progress to the supervising Field Officer.
  • Facilitate communication between beneficiary families, local schools, and the program team to address any issues or needs.
  • Conduct regular visits to beneficiary families to assess their situation and ensure they receive the intended support.
  • Assist in organizing and conducting community outreach programs to raise awareness about the Orphan Support Program.
  • Maintain accurate records of all activities and beneficiaries within the Union Council area.
  • Support the collection of data and feedback from beneficiaries for reporting and evaluation purposes.
  • Collaborate with local stakeholders to create a supportive environment for the beneficiaries.
  • Attend training sessions and meetings as required to enhance program knowledge and implementation skills.
  • Ensure compliance with the program's guidelines and standard operating procedures at the local level.
  • Act as a point of contact for beneficiaries and community members, addressing inquiries and providing information about the program.
