MIS coordinator
THE POSITION:
This position is located at Head office in Quetta and reports to the Manager ICT
SIGNIFICANCE OF THE POSITION:
The MIS Coordinator will support project teams by managing data and troubleshooting, generating high-quality reports, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of information flow. This role is pivotal in maintaining up-to-date databases, assisting with data analysis, and providing technical support related to MIS software, business intelligence tools, and reporting platforms. The MIS Coordinator ensures that data-driven insights are available for timely decision-making and program effectiveness.
More Specifically:
Data Management
- Maintain, update, project-related databases to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Conduct regular data validation, cleaning, and troubleshooting for system efficiency.
- Ensure proper data entry protocols and compliance with data management standards.
Reporting & Analytics
- Generate and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly project performance reports.
- Analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and insights for project improvement.
- Support project teams with customized data analysis as required.
Software & Tools Support
- Provide end-user support for software applications including Excel, SQL, and BI tools.
- Assist in the deployment, setup, and training for new reporting and analytics tools.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate complex problems to the IT department.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain logs of system updates, data processing activities, and changes to databases.
- Ensure adherence to organizational data security, privacy, and compliance policies.
Project Coordination & Capacity Building
- Collaborate with project staff to enhance data workflows and system utilization.
- Conduct training sessions on MIS systems, reporting tools, and data quality standards.
INTERNAL/EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS internally with all functional departments within organization
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Master degree or equivalent in a related field (e.g., computer science, information technology).
- 7 years of relevant working Experience.
- Experience with relevant MIS software and BI Tools.
