Background: An INGO in partnership with local NGO implementing a comprehensive humanitarian and resilience-building program across three high-risk districts of Balochistan—Quetta, Kila Saifullah, and Pishin. The intervention is designed to address critical humanitarian needs across the sectors of nutrition, health, WASH, food security and livelihoods (FSL), protection, and the capacity building of local and national actors, with a targeted focus on vulnerable populations comprising approximately 70% Afghan refugees and 30% host communities. A central pillar of this program is the localization agenda, which seeks to strengthen the institutional capacities of local and national actors to enhance the effectiveness, ownership, and sustainability of humanitarian responses. In this context, targeted capacity-building initiatives are planned for local partners, frontline workers, and relevant government institutions and other key stakeholders. To support the effective delivery and coordination of these training initiatives, the recruitment of a dedicated Program Assistant is essential. The Program Assistant will play a pivotal role in facilitating and supporting the implementation of various capacity-building activities. Key responsibilities will include documentation support, facilitation of trainers during training sessions, data management, and strengthening coordination with partners and stakeholders throughout the training implementation process
Key Responsibilities:
· Support trainers and facilitators in managing participant engagement and logistical needs during trainings Prepare and distribute training materials, including handouts, manuals, presentations, and evaluation forms.
· Coordinate the scheduling of training sessions, including booking venues, arranging logistics, and preparing training calendars.
· Maintain accurate training records, including attendance sheets and training evaluations,
· Communicate timely updates to participants regarding training schedules, venue changes, pre/post-training requirements, and follow-ups.
· Assist Project Manager for coordination with relevant government departments and stakeholders for training requirements, invitations, and field-level logistics.
· Ensure the effective management and archiving of training documentation and participant records.
· Support trainers and facilitators in managing participant engagement and logistical needs during trainings.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in administrative or training coordination roles, preferably in the humanitarian or development sector.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and local languages.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Capable of working collaboratively with trainers, participants, and stakeholders in a multicultural environment.
- Willingness to travel to field locations for training coordination as needed.
- Familiarity with government systems and stakeholders at the provincial/district level (would be plus point)
Type of Contract is Temporary: This position does not include staff benefits and offers a monthly salary only..
