1. Job Purpose:
The Hospitality Management Trainer will be responsible for planning and delivering the core technical training of the Hospitality Management Training (HMT) Project. The trainer will ensure that trainees gain in-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry, including Front Office Operations, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage (F&B) Services, Customer Handling, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The trainer will also prepare trainees for hands-on industry placements.
2. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive theoretical sessions on hospitality operations, standards, and procedures.
- Train trainees in core areas including:
- Front Office Operations: Guest check-in/out, reservation handling, telephone etiquette.
- Housekeeping: Cleaning techniques, room setup, linen handling, safety standards.
- F&B Services: Table setting, order taking, serving styles, hygiene practices.
- Emphasize customer service, guest relations, and professional conduct.
- Use multimedia presentations, real-life simulations, and industry case studies to enhance learning.
- Coordinate with English, Computer, and Soft Skills trainers to ensure cohesive training delivery.
- Prepare practical assessments, quizzes, and module evaluations.
- Mentor and coach trainees during mock setups and role-play scenarios.
- Support coordination with hotels and hospitality outlets for practical placements (if required).
- Monitor and document trainees' progress, attendance, and discipline.
- Submit weekly progress reports and final evaluation to the Project Coordinator.
3. Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with 2+ years in training or capacity building roles.
- Strong understanding of hospitality SOPs, customer service standards, and departmental coordination.
- Experience in vocational training programs or TVET sector is an advantage.
4. Desired Skills:
- Excellent training and facilitation skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to motivate and discipline youth trainees.
- Familiarity with local hospitality industry requirements and expectations.
- Competence in using digital tools for presentations and reports.
5. Work Schedule & Conditions:
Location: Training Center, Chitral
Duration: 1 month theory (full-time).
Working Days: 5 days a week (Monday to Friday)
Timings: As per training schedule (expected 4–6 hours/day)
