Qualification:
Master’s degree in public health, project management, health administration, development studies, environmental sciences or a related discipline.
Relevant Experience:
- 7–10 years of progressive professional experience in managing multisectoral public health or WASH/health system strengthening projects.
 - At least 3–5 years of field-based management experience at district/provincial level, working closely with government (Punjab) health systems.
 - Proven experience in donor-funded project management (preferably WaterAid, UNICEF, FCDO, USAID, or similar).
 - Experience managing teams and overseeing compliance, budgeting, procurement, and workplans.
 
Job Description:
- Oversee overall implementation and management of SWISH project in Lodhran, ensuring that all components (WASH, RMNCH, IPC) are delivered effectively, efficiently and in line with the approved DIP and workplan.
 - Supervise development and tracking of detailed implementation schedules, milestones and deliverables, ensuring activities are completed on time and within approved budgets.
 - Ensure application of WHO and national IPC guidelines, protocols and SOPs within health facilities, maintaining compliance and quality standards.
 - Oversee facility-level risk assessments to identify infection hazards and ensure development and execution of mitigation plans.
 - Ensure transparent use of financial, human and material resources, promoting value for money, cost-effectiveness and compliance with donor and IHHN financial policies.
 - Maintain strong coordination with District Health Officer (DHO) Lodhran, Local Government, BHU Health Managers and District Administration to align project activities with government priorities.
 - Facilitate joint planning sessions, progress reviews and integration of SWISH indicators into district-level monitoring and reporting systems.
 - Supervise and mentor district project team, ensuring performance accountability, timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
 - Monitor field activities, verify outputs and ensure accurate and timely progress documentation, data reporting and dashboard updates.
 - Oversee preparation and submission of high-quality technical and financial reports to IHHN and WaterAid, ensuring compliance and evidence-based reporting.
 
- Represent IHHN in district-level coordination forums to advocate for institutionalization, sustainability and scale-up of SWISH models and best practices.
 - Supervise staff orientation and capacity building on project implementation modalities, quality standards, documentation protocols and visibility requirements.
 - Proactively monitor implementation risks and bottlenecks, ensuring timely corrective actions to keep the project on track.
