AKHS P is seeking a Human Resource Officer to join our team at Aga Khan Medical Centre, Booni in the Chitral Region.
As the Human Resource Officer, your main responsibilities will include supporting the regional HR team in various tasks such as recruitment, addressing employee concerns, overseeing performance management, conducting training sessions, and ensuring compliance with HR policies. Your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of HR functions and fostering a positive work environment for all employees.
Major Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment and selection process, including posting job vacancies, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
- Manage employee onboarding and orientation processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Maintain and update employee records, including personal information, attendance, and performance evaluations record.
- Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employees’ skills and knowledge.
- Handle employee relations issues and provide guidance on conflict resolution and disciplinary matters.
- Oversee the implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and organizational standards.
- Conduct regular review of HR processes and documentation to identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in developing and updating job descriptions and organizational charts.
- Collaborate with department managers to address staffing needs and support workforce planning initiatives.
- Assist in monthly payroll documentation including attendance, earning code working, additions, deletions, etc.
- Handle staff health and life insurance as well as EOBI-related tasks
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HR to contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes within the organization.
- Develop and maintain employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work culture.
Education, Skills & Competencies:
- Have bachelor's/master’s degree in HR or in relevant field with one or more years of relevant experience. Experience in healthcare sector will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills
